Back from Norfolk

So that was it - a week away in Norfolk - the name of the place we stayed in was very Dutch sounding.  There wasn't a shop or pub in sight!!  I managed to get the Sirdar waistcoat finished - its in the new yarn Babouska and Persia and is now on display at the studio.  I also worked on some socks for Dad and started a Colinete jacket.

I spent the last day collecting Sloe berries (they are actually a wild damson plum!) and have spent several hours today making Sloe gin and Sloe vodka which hopefully should be ready for Christmas.  I also picked loads of balckberries - we will be eating the things for weeks as I have had to freeze most of them!

I now have 2 days to go before I visit the hospital again and hopefully this time the consultant should have at least seen the results of the scan and should be able to tell me whats happening inside my body!  There have been numerous calls from the hospital whilst we were away so I just hope that it is not to cancel the appointment.

The studio has been fairly quiet whilst I have been awaybut hopefully things will pick up again in the next few weeks.

I am at Masham Sheep Fair at the end of September then at Ally Pally with Tom and Bev at the beginning of October - they are hoping to have several exciting things going on - one being an even bigger stand!
